clrmehppygrl's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet Up Finally, we have our internet connection at the apartment set up. We got our digital cable and DVR, but the DVR isn't quite working yet, which is fine and all... I'm just going to have hubby call them tomorrow to get it fixed. If I'm going to be paying for it, I want it to work! Our place is starting to come together. The living room (other than all the boxes in the dining area) is almost all together. My old dresser serves for the entertainment area (a place to put the TV, books and DVDs in the drawers) and my parents gave me one of their old loveseat and sofa sets. I like it. I really do. It's becoming home... slowly, but surely. It is starting to feel nice. Our old apartment never felt like home. It felt alien... it felt wrong and uncomfortable and just... dirty. This place is old, but comfortable. Roomy for us. And it's completely ours. I haven't been so happy in my life. I have never felt more comfortable in my skin either. I have gotten into the swing of things at work more smoothly than I did when I started my job last time around. Things just feel right over here. And the longer I'm away from my mother, the better I feel as well. And I know that sounds horrible.... but it's just the truth. Life is good right now...
