clrmehppygrl's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Moved In So we're here. Really, and truly, and actually.... here. Now, that sounds dramatic, I'm sure, but the drama is just missing from all of this. Not that I'm complaining mind you, but I was more or less, expecting it. I don't know if I thought there was going to be some crazy kind of epiphany that was going to sweep over me when I stepped into our empty apartment for the first time, or when I started the job over here for the first day. But that epiphany, expected or not, just isn't there. This all feels incredibly natural. Maybe it really was just the right time for all of this to happen. I have no idea. But it feels right. Everything feels right. So, yes, we made it here. Finally. Our apartment is still mostly boxes, save for the munchkin's room, because my mom came over just to set it up for him. (That is an entire entry in and of itself!) And I have yet to cook anything in our kitchen except for some frozen pizzas and hotdogs. It's a little stuck in the 70s, with the yellow countertops and icky brown and creme wallpaper in the bathrooms, but you know what? It's all ours, and that makes me love it even more! I will get back to updating more often as soon as we get our cable internet set up, which will hopefully be by the end of this week. Until then I'm using Jupiter's connection to do anything I need no.
