clrmehppygrl's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Birthday Party Exhaustion I am completely, totally and utterly exhausted. Seriously. Even my fingers aren't working right. I'm having to go back and fix all my typos. Usually I'm not too bad at this typing thing. The party was great. My boss showed up about 12:30ish with his little ones, the girl, 6, and the boy, almost 5. At first they were both really shy, but as soon as they went out back and saw the swingset, and the toys, they were all over them like white on rice. Much fun was had. My stepsister brought my niece over to play and she really is a wonderful child. She's really good with Greg. When they're together they're attatched at the hip. Today was not only a lot of fun, extremely tiring, and fulfilling, but it reinforced my need to have more children. It does ache, seeing other little ones and just wanting to hold them and treat them like your own, when you know their own parent is right there to do it for them. I let my niece play in the paints we have for Greg and she had a blast. I mean, she played in them like it was mud. Just cupfuls of paint all over the place. But it was on a big piece of plastic, so it was okay. Last year wasn't NEARLY this tiring, or exciting for that matter. I definitely want more. I just wish I could get out of my parents house so that I could have more. *crosses fingers* Hopefully within the next year or so.
